Compact Discs

On July 23, a black compact disc case containing about 24 CDs was found lying alongside Mile Hill Road. Several of the CDs in the case have a name written on them. Police are holding the items for safekeeping. The owner may claim the items by contacting Officer Scott Smith at the police station at 3 Main Street, telephone 203-426-5841.

Digital Device

On the morning of July 23, a black and silver Apple-brand iPod digital media player was found lying alongside Horseshoe Ridge Road. The iPod carries a person’s name on its rear side. Fence Damaged

Someone sometime between 8 pm on Friday, July 22, and 9:15 am on Saturday, July 23, was driving a vehicle that struck and damaged some fencing at Newtown Skate Park at Dickinson Park off Brushy Hill Road, police said. The driver left the scene without reporting the collision.
