Newtown’s 13-year-old Babe Ruth baseball team, the Wolf Pack, host of the New England Regional Tournament, will be at home today, Monday, July 28, for a 4 pm game. Newtown will take on Eastern Massachusetts at High Meadow Field on the campus of Fairfield Hills.

The Wolf Pack is coming off an 8-7 win over Franklin County of Vermont on July 27. Following a 5-3 loss to New Hampshire in its first tourney game, on July 26, the Wolf Pack is in the loser’s bracket and must win each game to remain in the double-elimination tourney.

The winner of the Newtown-Eastern Massachusetts game will play the winner of Portsmouth, N.H., and Waterford at 7 pm on Tuesday, July 29.
