Resident Inducted Into Hall Of Leaders
Bruce W. Walczak SCRP, GMS, president and owner of Relocation Consultants, Inc, Ridgefield, and a resident of Newtown, was inducted into the Worldwide Employee Relocation Councilâs Hall of Leaders in May during the National Relocation Conference.
Worldwide ERC, the Association for Workforce Mobility, is located in Washington, D.C., and represents more than 12,000 employee relocation professionals worldwide. ERC has honored only 32 members into the Hall of Leaders in its history. Mr Walczak, a 34-year veteran of the relocation industry, was one of only three members inducted into the ERC Hall of Leaders in 2006.
Mr Walczak was also awarded his fourth Distinguished Service Award, given to members of ERC for service to the Employee Relocation Council.
âIâm particularly pleased to be able to recognize [Bruce Walczak] on becoming a repeat award winner,â said 2006 Worldwide ERC President Brad Charnas, SRA, SCRP, of Charnas Appraisals. âRather than be content with past achievements and honors, you have demonstrated an ongoing effort to make ERC better. That kind of commitment deserves the special recognition of your peers.â
Relocation Consultants, Inc, has been assisting corporations and their employees who relocate into the New York metropolitan area for the last 17 years. Mr Walczak has been on numerous educational panels for ERC, including The Focus on Relocation training program and has authored numerous articles on the relocation industry. On a local level he has been on the board of directors for the United Way of Northern Fairfield County, Junior Achievement, Multiple Sclerosis, and The Family Counseling Center.
