Midnight, left, is a black lab mix about five years old. She is very gentle and very social and loves people, but not other dogs. However with cats, she seem just fine. Midnight walks nicely on a leash and knows basic commands. She would be a loyal and loving companion. King, center, is a handsome Belgian Shepherd. He is a very nice dog, but needs to go to an experienced Shepherd owner (Mark Renick of CT. Canine Training has offered a free seven-week basic obedience class). King has become quite socialized since he has been with us and looks forward to his walks with the volunteers. Jazz, right, is an eight-year old German Shepherd. He is energetic and great for a genuine dog person, but is a real work dog who loves to push stones around for entertainment. A pleasant personality and very affectionate. Jazz is good with cats and other dogs but is not accustomed to children and was mostly an outside dog.
