To the Editor:

Thank You to everyone that came out to the Republican Caucus on Tuesday July 25th. A special Thank You to those that supported my efforts to seek the endorsement for First Selectman. While I was not successful it is an honor to know that those of you who supported me took time out of your day to do so.

Local elections are very important, whether it is the caucus, budget referendum or the general election. We live in a great country, state, county and town, where we know when we cast our vote it means something and our voice is heard. I encourage more people to get involved in some way to support the election process.

Also thank you to the Republican Party for adding me to the Legislative Council District 2 slate. I look forward to the campaign ahead and hopefully returning to the Council to continue the important work that we are responsible for. As I have said before, I am dedicated to Newtown and I will continue to work to preserve the town we all love. I look forward to hearing from members of the community.

Lastly, Thank You to my wife Melissa for supporting me and sharing our time together for me to volunteer for the town.
