Edith G. Buynak Cooper, 89, of Milford, wife of the late Harry J. Cooper, died peacefully July 23 at Golden Hill Health Care Center in Milford.

Three daughters, Carol Buynak, and her partner David Szekeres, of Sandy Hook, Lynn Judd, and her husband Robert, of Shelton, and Eileen Rak, and her husband Stanley, of Milford; and five grandchildren, Benjamin Judd, Zachariah Judd, Julie Rak, Samantha Rak, and Katelin Rak, survive Mrs Cooper.

Friends may call on Monday, July 27, from 6 to 8 pm, at the Pistey Funeral Home, 2155 Main Street, Stratford. A funeral service will take place Tuesday, July 28, at 10:30 am, at the funeral home. Interment will follow at King’s Highway Cemetery, Milford.
