To the Editor:

A town registrar needs to be someone who has the ability to multitask, is conscientious, reliable, organized, and who will follow through on tasks. I have worked at the polls many times and know the importance of having a registrar who is knowledgeable. Equally important are the various duties performed in the registrar’s office. The person most qualified for that job is Carey Schierloh. I have known Carey for many years and we have worked on various committees together. I have always been impressed with her organizational skills and the tasks she undertakes.

While I can’t vote for Carey in the primaries since I am a Democrat, I am urging all who can to vote in the primaries on August 14 for my friend, the best choice for the Republican registrar of Newtown, Carey Schierloh!
