If you could travel back in time, which decade in Newtown’s past would you visit?

Beverly Panettiere: 20 to 30 year ago, when it was more rural, less traffic, and it was more relaxed… I do love it here, but I can see how things have changed.

Jo-Ann Pavone: Bring it back to the 80s when it was more rural.

Glo Walsh: The 80s.

Deedee Calvey: Back when we still had Lexington Gardens to shop at for Christmas, and we could bring food from home to the movie theater.

Doris Travis: Maybe the 60s. I was working at Fairfield Hills, in the male unit. I had my daughter and the men gave me a baby shower.

Frank Furze: 1955, or something like that. That’s when I moved to Newtown.
