Angela Imperioli Girotto

Angela Imperioli Girotto, 45, of Newtown, died July 17, at her home. Born November 24, 1966, she was a daughter of Elio Imperioli and the late Luisa Mauricio Imperioli.

A graduate of Central High School, Ms Girotto was a postal carrier for the US Postal Service and also worked at Stop & Shop in Monroe. She was a member of UFCW Union Local 919 and an avid bowler. She also enjoyed motorcycle riding.

In addition to her father and stepmother, Elza, survivors include two sons, Christopher and Thomas Girotto of Newtown; and their father, Massimo Girotto of Bridgeport; a brother Flavio Imperioli, and his wife Mary, of Newtown; a sister, Christina Murcko, and her husband Michael Jr, of Stratford; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services took place July 21. Interment will be private, at the convenience of the family.
