Goodwill Industries Seeks Donations

Goodwill Industries of Western Connecticut is seeking donations of clothing, furniture, and household items in good condition to sell in its stores throughout the state.

Donors may drop off items at Goodwill stores or at attended donation centers, such as the one at the Newtown landfill on Ethan Allen Road.

Goodwill provides receipts for tax purposes.

Goodwill is a non-profit provider of vocational services for individuals with disabilities and special needs. It derives more than 60 percent of its operating revenue from the sale of donated goods in its retail stores.
