Camp For Grieving Children

NEW MILFORD — A few openings for children ages 6 through 12 are available at New Milford Visiting Nurse Hospice’s Camp Jonathan, a one-week day camp for children who have experienced the loss of a significant person in their lives.

Camp will be held at St John’s Church on the New Milford Green from August 13 through 17. Children are encouraged to express their grief and deal with bereavement issues in this safe environment, conducted by pediatric grief specialists and specially trained volunteers.
