Cornucopia Fest At UConn
STORRS â Come visit your College of Agriculture and Natural Resources for the seventh annual Cornucopia Fest set for Sunday, September 23, at the University of Connecticut.
Exhibits and demonstrations will be held from 10 am to 3 pm and an auction will start at 3 pm. Watch the Cornucopia Cup, the first polo match in the collegeâs new indoor arena. Take a hayride; bring your ailing plants to be diagnosed by the plant doctor; learn about agricultural biotechnology; take a guided hike in UConnâs own forest; complete the Cornucopia Quest and win a prize.
Attendees can also visit the Horticulture Show, talk to scientists, bring a soil sample for a free pH test, get a computerized diet analysis, go to a GPS treasure hunt, ride the personnel lift, learn about âEducation with a View,â or have an ice cream cone at the Dairy Bar.
