William Toth

William Toth, 69, of Norwalk, a retired director of operations at the Pegnataro Company in New Haven, died July 24 in Connecticut Hospice Inc. in Branford.

He was the brother of Elizabeth Morano of Newtown.

Born in Norwalk on June 18, 1931, he was the son of the late Charles and Rose Toth. Mr Toth was a Norwalk resident most of his life, retiring in Surf City, N.C. He was a member of the American Legion and a US Army veteran of the Korean War.

Survivors also include his wife, Patricia (Drake) Toth; his children, Kathleen Nargi-Toth and husband, Jo Wiynschenk, of East Haven and Robert Toth and wife, Janice Toth, of Shelton; six grandchildren, Jessika, Nikita, Gabrielle, Robert, Jr, Alan, and Daniel; two brothers, Charles and Robert Toth of Norwalk; another sister, Rose Marie Jackson of Danbury; and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by a brother, Richard Toth.

Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Friday, July 28, at 9 am in St Thomas the Apostle Church, 203 East Avenue, Norwalk. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery, Norwalk.

Calling hours were scheduled for Thursday, July 27, from 6 to 8 pm in the Parente-Lauro Funeral Home, 559 Washington Avenue, Bridgeport.

 In lieu of flowers, donations in his memory may be made to the Ronald McDonald House, 501 George Street, New Haven, CT 06511.
