Carol Ann Scinto

Carol Ann Scinto, 57, wife of Richard L. Scinto, Sr, of Shelton died Tuesday, July 25, in her home following a long illness. She was the mother of Richard L. Scinto, Jr, of Newtown.

Born in Bridgeport on December 9, 1942, Mrs Scinto was the daughter of the late Bernard and Ann Palokas Rynkiewicz. Mrs Scinto was a homemaker and resident of Shelton for 27 years. She previously lived in  Milford.

She was formerly a hairdresser and instructor at National Academy of Hairdressing in Bridgeport. She enjoyed working as a hostess and salesperson for the Antique and Artisan Center of Stamford.

She is also survived by another son, Ronald L. Scinto of Norwalk; daughters Dana M. Scinto and Dayle M. Crawford of Florida; a sister, Bernadine Przekop of Newington; and a grandson, David Crawford, Jr, of Florida.

A funeral service with the Rev Francis Winn officiating will be held on Saturday, July 29, at 11 am at Spadaccino Community Funeral Home, 315 Monroe Turnpike, Route 111, in Monroe. Interment will be at the convenience of the family. Family and friends may call on Friday from 4 to 8 pm.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Connecticut, Inc., 920 Farmington Avenue, West Hartford, CT 06107.
