Robert D. Palmieri, 58, a lifelong Bridgeport resident, died July 21. Born on December 9, 1956, in Bridgeport, he was a son of Nancy Telesco Palmieri of Bridgeport and the late Michael Palmieri.

In addition to his mother, survivors include sisters Charlene Calandro and her husband, Dan, of Sandy Hook and Diane Martell of New Milford; his brother Michael Palmieri and his wife, Theresa, of Stratford; a godchild, Jodi; and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the caregivers and friends from Bridgeport Manor who made Mr Palmieri’s stay so very comfortable.

Funeral services were scheduled for Friday, July 24, at Abriola Parkview Funeral Home in Trumbull, and then in St Augustine’s Cathedral in Bridgeport, for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment followed in Gate of Heaven Cemetery, Trumbull.
