Reasons To Vote No On August 12

To the Editors:

On Saturday, July 26 and August 2, the Friends of Fairfield Hills will be at the Middle School (Queen Street) from 10 am to noon. We will explain to you why you should vote No for the current proposed Fairfield Hills Master Plan.

You can view maps showing the Selectmen’s Plan for an office park vs the Friends of Fairfield Hills municipal center. The Friends of Fairfield Hills will also show you the current available commercial space in Newtown and the surrounding areas.

Does Newtown really need commercial development at Fairfield Hills when, in fact, there is presently over 100,000 square feet of commercial space vacant in Newtown?

Let us tell you our vision of Fairfield Hills and why we think Fairfield Hills is so important to the future of Newtown. Listen to the ideas we think are important and let us tell you the reasons to vote No on August 12. Remember that your vote is very important.
