Botsford Fire Company Elects Officers

The United Fire Company of Botsford recently held its annual election of officers for the fire company.

The results of the elections for administrative offices are: President Jay Nezvesky; Vice President Gavin Arneth; Secretary Gordon Thompson;  Financial Secretary John DiCostanzo, and Treasurer Marty Schertzer.

The results of the elections for firefighting offices are: Fire Chief Rich Brady; 1st Asst Chief Chris Sadlier; 2nd Asst Chief Wayne Ciaccia; Captain Rich Prasauckas; Chief Engineer Eric Denzel; 1st Asst Engineer Ian Stuard; 2nd Asst Engineer Gavin Arneth; Trustee Marty Schertzer; Steward Vince Cannavo, and Quartermaster Eric Denzel.

 The Botsford unit is one of five volunteer fire companies that operate in town. The others are Newtown Hook and Ladder, Sandy Hook, Hawleyville, and Dodgingtown.
