Lasher Comes Through Again

To the Editor:

Once again, Mr Howard Lasher has come through for the children of Newtown. Over the years, Mr Lasher has been instrumental in raising well over $50,000 for the Newtown Camper Scholarship Fund. Over 35 youngsters received full scholarships this year.

On behalf of all the scholarship recipients, and the Newtown Parks and Recreation Department, our heartfelt thanks to Mr Lasher for his continued support. Without his efforts, many children would never be able to enjoy a truly wonderful summer camp experience.

Thank you Howard for your unending efforts for Newtown’s most treasured possessions.
