July 28: The 34th annual Connecticut Agricultural Fair opens at 9 am with horse show at 10 am and Marge Hennebach on stage at 11 am and 1 pm; draft cattle drawing at 11 am; Family Magic circus at noon and 1:30 pm; children’s pedal tractor at 2 pm; auction at 3 pm; children’s bicycle drawing at 4 pm; Cheryl Cornier on center stage at 4 and 7 pm; and Eric Heatherly at 5:30 and 8:15 pm. Gates close at 9 pm.

July 29: Fair opens at 9 am, draft horse demonstration and a garden tractor pull. The Family Circus will perform at 11 am and 1:30 pm; Sophisticals at 11 am, and Amy Gallatin & Stillwaters at 12:20 pm and 3:30 pm. Livingston Taylor will be on center stage at 2 pm. The children’s tractor pull will be at 2:40 pm; the auction is at 3:30 pm. Raffle drawing at 5 pm. The fair closes at 6 pm.

July 30: Fair cleanup. Help will be needed.

August 2: Pocono, picnic.

August 3: Oxford, “Ghostly Legends of the Valley”; Watertown, Executive Committee program; Riverton, “Riverton.”
