John J. Siczewicz
John J. Siczewicz, 76, husband of Evelyn (Farrell) Siczewicz of Settlerâs Lane, Sandy Hook, died July 24 in Danbury Hospital.
He was born in Woonsocket, R.I., on June 28, 1928, a son of the late Jacob and Marya (Stadnik) Siczewicz. Mr Siczewicz was a graduate of Providence College and was a US Navy veteran of World War II.
He was employed as an accountant at Avco-Lycoming, Stratford, until his retirement in 1990. A resident of Newtown for 35 years, Mr Siczewicz was a communicant of St Rose of Lima Church.
In addition to his wife of 47 years, he is survived by two sons, Peter Siczewicz and his wife, Marietta, of Naperville, Ill., and Thomas Siczewicz and his wife, Lorianne, of Williamsville, N.Y.; two daughters, Ann Siczewicz of West Hartford, and Susan T. Lewis of Syracuse, N.Y.; two grandchildren; one brother, Michael Siczewicz of Ossining, N.Y.; two sisters, Helen Kenworthy of Oradell, N.J., and Stephanie Siczewicz of North Smithfield, R.I. H was predeceased by a sister, Frances Siczewicz of North Smithfield.
Funeral services will be held July 28 at 9:30 am from the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and at 10 am in St Rose of Lima Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will be in St Ann Cemetery, Cranston R.I., July 30, at 1 pm.
Friends may call Friday, July 27, from 3 to 5 pm and 7 to 9 pm.
