Bernard        Redmond
Bernard Redmond, 88, died July 24 at Genesis Eldercare in Lebanon, N.H. He was born in England on January 8, 1913, a son of John and Mary Redmond.
He grew up in Staten Island, N.Y., where he worked as a seaman during World War II. He later worked as a machinist, mostly in Newtown. He was married to Jessie Sheridan in 1959. After retiring, they moved to Beach Lake, Penn., and then to West Lebanon, N.H., to be nearer to Mrs Redmondâs daughter.
Mr Redmond was very handy and always willing to help his friends and neighbors.
He is survived by two sisters, Joan McHattie of Arizona and Maureen Leatham of Oregon; a stepdaughter, Phyllis Grady of West Lebanon, N.H.; a stepson, Clifford OâDell of Sebastian, Fla.; eight grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
