‘Business In Bloom’ Award To NSB

TRUMBULL — The Trumbull Chamber of Commerce, an affiliate of the Bridgeport Regional Business Council, presented its 2nd Annual Business in Bloom Awards, including one to Newtown Savings Bank. The award recipients were nominated for their commitment to “grow” their business in Trumbull by expanding, relocating, opening, or beautifying their Trumbull business.

The Trumbull Chamber of Commerce partnered with Trumbull Economic Development Department to seek nominations of companies that met these criteria. Trumbull Chamber of Commerce Chairman Alice Ferreira said, “The Trumbull Chamber of Commerce wanted to recognize the businesses that have chosen Trumbull to locate their business or have expanded and improved their presence in town.”

The 2009 Business in Bloom Awards event was sponsored by the Trumbull Marriott and Newtown Savings Bank, June 24.

The nine other Trumbull Chamber Business in Bloom awards went to the Trumbull Marriott, Cooper Surgical, Mutual of Omaha, O Grille & Bar, Positive Family Behavior, Stop and Shop, Sun Products, Supercoups, and Target.
