Resident Comedian In Huntington Saturday Night; Tickets Going Fast

Sandy Hook writer, actor and stand-up comic Andrew Kennedy just finished taping an episode of The Very Funny Show, a Chicago-based to be hosted by Tim Meadows (of Saturday Night Live fame) and premiering this fall on TBS. With appearances on HBO, ABC, BET, Univision, Galavision and Si-TV this bi-lingual and Colombian born performer breaks through ethnic boundaries to connects cultures through humor and insightful observation.

Not often performing in his home state, Mr Kennedy will be at The Huntington Street Café in the Huntington section of Shelton this weekend.

Mr Kennedy performs weekly in New York City at clubs such as Gotham, Stand-Up New York, The Comedy Cellar, Comic Strip Live, Times Square Arts Center, New York Comedy Club and many other A list rooms. He also has his own Comedy Central Special in constant rotation on the famed network. In fact it was voted #12 (behind Dane Cook) on the network’s month-long competition, Stand-Up Showdown, earlier this year.

Tickets for July 25 are just $15 for some New York City quality comedy and are available by calling 203-925-9064.

Shelton native Joe Schiappa will open the show, which will begin at 9. The café is at 90 Huntington Street (just off Route 108/Nichols Avenue).
