Newtown ‘Super Girl’ Wins Gold At Nutmeg State Games

11-year-old Marie Randle took home the gold medal for her dancing routine, which was set to the theme of Superman while appearing as Supergirl, on Saturday, July 11, from the 2009 Nutmeg Games, held at the Danbury Ice Arena. Marie competed in both the Pre-Preliminary Solo Free Skate and the Bronze Show Case categories during the event.
