Jane Frances Enser Myers

Beloved Wife, Mother,

And Grandmother

Jane Frances Myers, 79, died July 19, with her husband of 56 years by her side. She was born in Buffalo, N.Y., October 21, 1929.

She is survived by the loves of her life, her husband, James A, Myers; four daughters, including Katie Kent and her husband, Neal, of Newtown; and eight grandchildren.

Mrs Myers made her home in Gates, N.Y., for 50 years, where she happily raised her daughters. She held positions in the 1970s and 1980s at the New York State Unemployment Office and Rochester Community Bank.

She will be remembered by those who knew her as a genuinely kind and gentle woman, and a devoted Catholic, with a lovely sense of humor. She lived by the words, “If you don’t have anything nice to say, say nothing.” She took true pleasure in the happiness and successes of each of her daughters and grandchildren.

Memorial contributions can be made to the Alzheimer Foundation, 322 Eighth Avenue, 7th floor, New York NY 10001; or the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation, 1 East Wacker Drive, Chicago IL 60601-1905.

Arrangements were handled by Alvah Halloran and Sons, with a Mass at St Theodore’s Church in Gates.
