Animal Center Kitty Adoption Drive

The Animal Center will hold a special cat adoption event at the Natural Pet Market in Sherman Village, 670 Main Street in Woodbury on Saturday, July 25, from 11 am to 3 pm.

From July 25 through August 31, The Animal Center will be running an “Adopt One, Get One Free” promotion. All cats adopted from The Animal Center have been examined by a veterinarian, spayed/neutered, treated for internal/external parasites, vaccinated and tested for feline leukemia and feline immunodeficiency virus, all included within The Animal Center’s adoption fee.

Prospective adopters may meet The Animal Center’s zany and wonderful cats at the Natural Pet Market and have a chance to look at the kittens online and download information on adopting from the Center’s website: theanimalcenter.org.

For information on this adoption event, contact Robin Olson at 270-0228. The Animal Center is a Newtown-based, non-profit animal welfare charity that rescues, rehabilitates and places the community’s abandoned, neglected and injured cats and kittens into loving homes. The Animal Center not only partners with the community, but also with other rescue groups and veterinary offices to save cats that might otherwise be euthanized. The Animal Center is a 501 (c)3 publicly-supported charity, will help more than 250 cats this year and relies heavily on the support of the public and generous volunteers.
