Rock Ridge’s monthly ABCD Tournament was held last weekend. John O’Connor, Tim Manoni, Art Weisgerber and John Gschwind won the tourney with a score of 5 under par.  

Junior/Senior  Championship

The annual Rock Ridge Country Club Junior/Senior Championship was held this past Saturday and Sunday. This tournament is the second trophy event of the season and pairs a member under the age of 50 with a member over the age of 50 in a two-day better ball format.

After the completion of 36 grueling holes, Mike Portnoy and George Trudell took home low gross honors with an even par score of 140 for the weekend. They held off Bob McDonald and Tim Rahr, who had a second gross finish. Taking a charge on Saturday, then never surrendering the lead on Sunday was Tom Bartram and Art Weisgerber. They fought off the pesky team of John DuBraski and McAdory Lipscomb III who would just never give up.
