NICE Party Open House

The newly formed NICE Party will hold an open house at Hot Shots Sports Bar in Hawleyville every night (6-9 pm) up until Thursday, August 2, for anyone interested in running for local office.

Organizer Barry Piesner said a candidate would need just 35 signatures in order to get on the ballot in November.

“We’re there to talk to people who are interested and who are not affiliated with any political party. Half the town is unaffiliated, or they can be people who want to help the town. We don’t care what their affiliations are,” Mr Piesner said.

Free soft drinks will be served.
