Patricia Ann Powers and Steven Carl Powers of Newtown announce the birth of a son, Shane Kenneth, on July 10 at Danbury Hospital.

Shane’s grandmother is Ruth Ann Hensel of Sandy Hook. His grandfather is Carl Powers of Waterbury.
