More than 130 students from the greater Danbury area are participating in this yearâs program. Children in grades 7 through 12 have been doing behind-the-scenes and on-stage work for the production, which will be staged at Newtown High School on Friday, July 30, at 7:30 pm, and Saturday, July 31, at 3 pm.
Tickets for reserved seating are $15, general admission for adults is $12, and $10 for students and seniors.
In addition to the full Rodgers and Hammerstein musical, younger students this summer â those in grades 3 to 5 â have been working on their own show. The younger STC crowd will perform their own musical cabaret show of singing, dancing and fun on Wednesday, July 28. Showtime is 6:30 pm and will also be at Newtown High School.
Admission for the cabaret is free.
For information on either show contact STC director Sabrina Post at 270-6150, extension 1162.
