Theresa M. Hawkes

Theresa M. Hawkes, 93, wife of the late Lester Hawkes of Iannotti Lane, Derby, died July 20 at Connecticut Hospice, Branford.

 Born in Sandy Hook, September 19, 1907, daughter of the late Peter and Catherine (Klein) Jacobson, she was a resident of Derby the past eight years. She was last employed as a packer at the Shelton Hosier Mills.

 She is survived by two daughters, Jean Jackson and Betty Mancini, both of Derby; 11 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandson.

 Funeral services were held July 24 from the Honan Funeral Home, 58 Main Street, Newtown, and at St Rose Church for a Mass of Christian Burial. Interment was in St Rose Cemetery.
