August IAIS Workshops

WASHINGTON — The Institute for American Indian Studies (IAIS) will host several classes during the month of August.

An adult gourd-making class will be held on Saturday, August 11, led by Lydia Granitto at 2 pm.

A children’s workshop on “Story Stones” will be held on Sunday, August 12, also at 2 pm. Ms Granitto will also lead this class.

E. Barrie Kavasch will lead a “Shamanism, Dreams and Nature Spirits” class on the weekend of August 25 and 26, starting at 10 am on Saturday.
