Congratulations, Scudder, on 50 years of dedication to the newspaper business. You have made The Bee the eyes and ears of Newtown. Canine Advocates of Newtown, Inc would like to thank you for your enthusiastic support since our incorporation in 1999. It seems like only yesterday that Luise Lenk and I came into your office to discuss our mission to help advertise dogs for adoption and provide daily walks and vet care for the animals at the pound.

Thank you for helping by advertising the homeless animals and publicizing our events. Thank you for the love and compassion you show for all animals. The homeless dogs at Newtown Animal Control send you special tail wags as you celebrate this landmark in your career. Best wishes for many more successful years.
