Edith A. Craig, 99, of Southbury, died July 15 in the Lutheran Home, Southbury. Mrs Craig was the wife of the late George R. Craig. She had been a resident of Southbury the last several years and was previously a resident of the Old Road in Newtown for many years.

Mrs Craig was born in Cuba on April 8, 1907, a daughter of John and Erna (Hilbert) Rohrabacher. Mrs Craig and her husband were the managers of several Kalamazoo Stove and Furnace Stores throughout the northeast United States. She was last employed by the Oxley Supply Co. in Ridgefield.

Mrs Craig is survived by two sons, John R. Craig of Southbury, and Richard E. Craig of Washington, D.C. She is also survived by four grandchildren and several great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was conducted at Mountain Grove Cemetery in Bridgeport on July 18. Arrangements were by the Honan Funeral Home.
