A Great Summer Evening

To the Editor:

This past Saturday night, my husband and I walked to The Pleasance to attend a concert by In Harmony. Sitting there enjoying the fabulous music, the summer evening and the surroundings, I couldn’t imagine a better town to live in. It was a time to connect with old friends and to enjoy the company of new ones.

The Pleasance, complete with its beautiful plantings, gazebo, bocce ball court and quiet spaces, is a welcome addition and I would like to publicly thank Scudder Smith for this gift to our town. I would also like to commend the Booth Library for this summer series and encourage others to take advantage of this special treat.
