It’s A Snow Show At Potter & Slack

MARBLEDALE — From August 5 through September 17, Potter & Slack Fine Art will present “Snow in August: Winter Scenes to Cool Your Senses,” an exhibition of paintings that features the opposite time of the year and celebrates the beauties of winter: the cool views of villages and farms, the long shadows and subtle light of meadows and forests.

The exhibition will include 14 artists: Lewis Bryden, Winfield Scott Clime, Rick Daskam, Roger W. Dennis, Evelyn Faherty, Sandy Garvin, Curtis W. Hanson, John Mulcahy, Robert Myers, Robert Emmett Owen, Mark Patnode, George Phillips, George Van Hook and Nelson H. White.

Potter & Slack Fine Arts is on Route 202 in Marbledale (between New Milford and Litchfield) and is open Saturdays and Sundays, 11 am to 5 pm, and by appointment. For information, call 860/868-3245.
