The Newtown Storm 11U travel baseball team played hard in three games last week, using solid team baseball for two wins and a tie. Game highlights are as follows:
Storm 9, Wilton 7: Dillon Larkin, Jack Heinlein, and Bobby Ward each had two hits to lead the Storm. In the field, Matt Brantl played great at catcher, and Tim Davis and Jack Hannan made some solid plays.

Jack Heinlein had a bases-clearing double in the third inning, Jackson Dooley mad a great catch at second for a force-out in the sixth inning, and Ryan Mailloux closed the game for his second save in two games. Dillon Larkin, Jack Heinlein, and Matt Brantl also pitched well.
