Mortgage Completed For_75 Glen Road
The Braverman Group of Westport has announced it has completed mortgage financing for 75 Glen Road in Newtown. The mortgage amount was $2,475,000. New Haven Savings Bank commercial department provided the funding.
The former Fabric Fire Hose building was originally constructed in 1839 and gut renovated in the mid to late 1990s.
New Haven Savings Bank was attracted to the 75,000-square-foot building because of the high quality of the property, the unique setting abutting the Pootatuck River and Rocky Glen State Park and the very low vacancy rate of 0.8 percent in Newtown, which is the lowest in Fairfield County.
The tenancy is diverse, including international software companies, publishing companies, attorneys, healthcare firms and insurance firms.
The proximity to I-84 has filled the building with tenants from throughout the region looking for a high tech campus setting amid the calm beauty of a pastoral New England setting surrounded by a river and waterfall.
The building includes an office suite complex offering broad band, high speed Internet and 24 hour access.
Over the last six months the Braverman Group has completed well in excess of half a million square feet of leases, mortgage brokerage and sales throughout Fairfield County. The company currently represents or have recently represented Apex Investments, PricewaterhouseCoopers, Barnes & Noble, Tyco Corp., and Purdue Pharma in real estate leasing, management and sales.
The Braverman Group is a full service management, leasing and investment firm representing tenants and owners throughout Connecticut and New York.
