Trinity Goes To Workcamp

The Trinity Church Youth Group, chaperones, and troubleshooters spent a week at the Erie Canal Christian Workcamp at Niagara Falls, helping less fortunate homeowners with some much-needed repairs.

Some of the projects they worked on included roofing, exterior and interior painting, and construction of stairs, decks, and wheelchair ramps.

Group Workcamp is a national interdenominational organization that brings young people and their sponsors from all over the country together at various locations throughout the United States, Canada, and Mexico. For many youth, it is a life-altering experience, helping them to grow in their faith by helping others and asking nothing in return. It also gives them a chance to develop new friends that they would otherwise never have had.

The Trinity group left Newtown at 5 am on Sunday, June 29, and were at the workcamp for one week.
