“Reducing Resistance Between Horse & Rider” will be the subject of a clinic presented by Allison Thurston on Saturday, July 19, at Kettledrum Farm on North George’s Hill Road in Southbury. The Newtown Bridle Lands Association sponsors the seminar.

Develop an understanding of what the horse has to do, what the rider has to do, and what the horse and rider have to do together to enjoy a resistance-free relationship. New exercises will give fast results! Pleasure horses will meet at 8:30 am and dressage horses at 10 am.

Cost is $65 per rider or $10 per auditor. Call the NBLA at 791-4853 or Toby Tamblyn at 270-6813 for further information.
