New Adoptive Parents To Speak At Charities Adoption Open House
BRIDGEPORT â The Adoption Program of Catholic Charities of Fairfield County will sponsor a China Adoption Open House on Wednesday, July 30, at 6 pm, at the Catholic Center, 238 Jewett Avenue.
The evening is provided free of charge and is open to individuals and couples of all faiths. Parents who have recently completed successful adoptions through the China Adoption Program of Catholic Charities will be on hand to answer questions and provide information about their trip.
Adoption professionals from Catholic Charities will also discuss international adoption of infants, the home study process, and other information about the legal, social, and psychological aspects of adoption.
âCatholic Charities has been placing children from China since 1995. We have placed over 50 children and have had many families return to adopt a second child. If you are interested in adopting a child from China, now is the time to begin the process,â said Amy Zajac, director of the CCFC Adoption Program.
The Catholic Charities program provides traditional, open, identified, and foreign-born adoption services. It also provides home studies, right-to-know information, programs to empower adoptive parents, and educational forums for prospective adoptive parents.
Please RSVP to help with planning. For information on the Catholic Charities Adoption program, call Amy Zajac at 203-372-4301 or visit the adoption page on the Catholic Charities website at www.ccfc-ct.org
