The Democratic Town Committee has announced its endorsed candidates for consideration at the Democratic caucus Thursday, July 17, at 8 pm, at the Alexandria Room of Edmond Town Hall.

For the Legislative Council, the town committee backed incumbents in districts 1 and 2: Francis Pennarola, Peggy Baiad, Joseph Hemingway, and Timoth Holian. In District 3, the town committee named James Shpunt and Daniel Amaral as its favored candidates.
Other candidates backed by the Democratic Town Committee are:
Board of Finance, James O. Gaston and Michael E. Portnoy, incumbents.
