Micaela Rosann Hurley to Jason B. McMurrough

Michael and Lorraine Hurley of South Main Street, Newtown, announce the engagement of their daughter, Micaela Rosann Hurley, to Jason Bowen McMurrough, son of Larry and Jody McMurrough of Crosby, Texas.

The future bride graduated from Newtown High School, the United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor’s of science in human factors engineering, and the University of Oklahoma with a master’s degree in international relations. She is a first lieutenant in the United States Army serving with the 66th Military Intelligence Group in Darmstadt, Germany.

The future groom graduated from Channelview High School in Channelview, Tex., and the United States Military Academy at West Point with a bachelor’s of science in business management. He is a captain in the United States Army and currently serving in the 13th Corps Support Command in Fort Hood, Tex.

An October wedding is planned.
