Music Under The Stars

To The Editor:

Last year, Newtown Youth Services sponsored an event at the Fireside Inn to promote a local group of musicians – Richard Donnelly, Joshua Swetts, Jason Hiruo and David Goodwick, known as Playback. It was a wonderful evening of music, entertainment, food and great family fun. Over 400 people, kids and adults, attended and had a really great night. For those of you who asked, “when would we do this again?”, we’re doing this again Friday night, July 21, at the Dickinson Town Park Pavilion!

Please bring your blanket and family and come down to the park at about 7:15. We’ll be grilling food and listening to the original music of Playback’s newest CD called urban lullaby and we will also enjoy the original music of another local group, Sci-fi Lullaby. It should be a great night for Music Under the Stars and we would love to invite the community to join us. There is an admission price of $5 per person with children under 6 free.
