Support When It Counted

To the Editor:

I would like to thank everyone who has supported me over the last three months. It has been long and mentally draining for my family and me. Your letters, flowers, and cards have been greatly appreciated during those three months of my termination; they are what kept me fighting. Everyone who came to the hearings, I would like to thank you; four days and eleven hours was a long time to sit through.

All of my walkers and volunteers who have been behind me 100 percent, the animal center who has been a backbone for me during this period. Spay and Neuter of Newtown who has been a advocate for me. Thank you all so very very much. I couldn’t possibly go through this without all of you.

I would also like to thank my husband, son, daughter, and family members who had to endure this every day. They continued their support every day, and I don’t know what I would do without them.

I have been dedicated to helping the animals of Newtown, and I will continue to do so. I look forward to getting back to work and seeing everyone down at the pound, especially those wagging tails.
