Arrested

After learning that police held a warrant for his arrest, Andrew Bolmer, 21, of 31 Swamp Road went to the police station on the morning of July 10 and was arrested on a charge of violation of probation.

Police said Bolmer’s arrest on a probation violation stems from his January 10 arrest on a charge of possession of less than four ounces of marijuana.

Following arrest processing, police placed $15,000 bail on Bolmer for his arraignment on the probation violation in Danbury Superior Court on July 10. Bolmer is scheduled to again appear in court on July 23.

Breach of Peace

In response to a report of a verbal confrontation in the Big Y supermarket at Newtown Shopping Village at 6 Queen Street, police went to the store’s parking lot at about 1 pm July 14 to investigate.

Police said they arrested Donald Wagner, Jr, 53, of Woodbury on a charge of breach of peace. After processing, police released Wagner on $100 bail for a July 29 court appearance.
