General Acting Auditions
At Hartford Stage
HARTFORD â Hartford Stage, one of the nationâs leading resident theatre companies, will hold general auditions for the 2001-02 American Season for local Equity actors on Monday, July 23, and local Non-Equity actors on Tuesday, July 24. Appointments will be scheduled between 10 am and 5 pm both days.
Interested parties are asked to prepare two monologues, one classical and one contemporary, which combined should not exceed three minutes in length. Additionally, actors are being asked to bring a recent photograph and an acting résumé.
To arrange for an appointment, actors must call 860-525-5601 to sign up. No one will be seen without an appointment. Please note that the open call for childrenâs roles in A Christmas Carol will be announced in the fall. Hartford Stage is an equal opportunity employer.
Non-Equity actors must be local as housing and transportation to the theatre are not provided.
The 2001-02 American Season will productions of The Philadelphia Story by Philip Barry, Necessary Targets by Eve Ensler, A Christmas Carol adapted by Michael Wilson, Diosa by Edwin Sanchez, and Edward Albeeâs Seascape.
Auditions will take place at Hartford Stage Rehearsal Studios, on the second floor of the Richardson Building at 942 Main Street in Hartford.
