Police Hold Found Items for Safekeeping

Police are holding a variety of found items at the police station for safekeeping. The owners of the items should contact police at 3 Main Street, or by telephone at 426-5841, to claim the items. The officer in charge of found items is Sergeant Darlene Froehlich.

Starting with the items most recently turned over to police, the inventory includes: June 5, a black purse found at Sand Hill Plaza; May 25, a pendant and ring found at Dickinson Park; May 15, a Pentax camera found at Treadwell Park; May 6, a bicycle found at the athletic field at Bridge End Farm Lane; April 5, a blue purse containing money found at Newtown Convenience Store on Church Hill Road; March 11, a black RadioShack-brand cordless telephone found at Fairfield Hills; and February 10, a wooden jewelry box found on High Rock Road.
