Paddlers Club To Meet In New Milford This Month

NEW MILFORD — The Housatonic Valley Paddlers Club, an areawide group of canoeists, kayakers, and outdoor enthusiasts, has scheduled its next meeting for Wednesday, July 21, at 7 pm.

Please note that this month’s meeting will move to the historic railroad station/Chamber of Commerce building on Railroad Street in New Milford. (The club usually meets at the Newtown CL&P Service Center.)

Guest speaker George Walker will lead a program on creating a management plan for Lake Lillinonah, and Curtis Reed will give a presentation on water sampling.

Nonmembers are welcome to join the meeting to learn about the club, its members, and activities. The club’s website is www.HVPaddleClub.org.
