Harriet A. Weizenegger

Harriet A. Weizenegger, 86, of 291-B Heritage Village, Southbury, died July 9 at her home. She was the widow of Joseph F. Weizenegger.

Mrs Weizenegger was born November 20, 1917, in Oskaloosa, Iowa, a daughter of the late George and Jennie (Breuklander) Ryan. She worked as a real estate agent and served as a volunteer in the Newtown Library, Meals on Wheels in Newtown, and FISH in both Newtown and Southbury. She was an avid reader and Scrabble player. She lived in Newtown for 22 years before moving to Southbury in 1992.

She leaves one son, Michael Weizenegger of Burlington, Vt.; four daughters, Nancy Nolan of Reston, Va., Mary Martin of Raleigh, N.C., Jan Cutler of Amherst, Mass., and Lisa Weizenegger of Nyack, N.Y.; ten grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

All services are private. Arrangements are by Carpino Funeral Home, 750 Main Street South, Southbury.
